New Mom High On Painkillers Can’t Remember She Gave Birth

February 16th, 2017

Tisha Heffron, who had given birth to a son, Clay, hours earlier, was still recovering from the effects of the morphine when her husband James tried to record her first waking moments. Even though she was in a hospital room, wearing a gown, and sitting across the room from Clay, she claimed to have no idea what James was talking about. She insists that their son’s name is “Jackson,” which is true…except Jackson is their fifteen-month-old.

The baby part isn’t the only thing she struggles with. At one point she wonders why the room keeps going dark, and James explains it’s because she keeps closing her eyes. She also asks James if he’s her brother, and whether the baby came out of her belly button.

Eventually the meds wore off, Tisha’s memories returned, and everyone was happy.

Elderly Sisters Still Bicker When Giving Directions

February 7th, 2017

They’ve been sisters for 97 years, but they fight as much as any sisters you know. While driving to a family event, Sheila had her video camera running, and it caught this excellent argument between her grandmother, (age 97, in the front seat), and her aunt, (age 102, in the back.) When the video begins, the sisters are already arguing over who Sheila’s going to drive around to do errands, but when Sheila takes a wrong turn, the gloves really come off. It’s the kind of fight you can only have after knowing someone for almost a century. Watch the video below.

This Bride Wore A T-Rex Costume To Pull A Hilarious ‘First Look’ Prank On Groom, And His Reaction Is Priceless

January 28th, 2017

You know that “first look” moment at weddings? It’s the one where the soon-to-be-married couple sees each other all fancy-looking for the first time ever, and it’s considered a pretty big thing, as it’s usually filled with tears of joy and a bunch of pictures. Elizabeth Gardner imagined the “first look” moment a bit differently – filled with laughter instead of tears of joy.

The bride decided to show up in a T-Rex costume. She did so for two reasons – just to see the groom’s face when he first saw her at their wedding, and for a more personal one. “My mother’s maiden name, and my middle name, is Rex,” Elizabeth told The Huffington Post. “So, I thought it would be funny to wear the costume on the day I would go from a Rex/Hundley to a Gardner.” Jon Clark Weddings shared a video capturing the groom’s reaction at the wedding and it’s absolutely priceless! You can check it out below.

Possum Massage

December 6th, 2016

Georgina Spelvin, a psychic who also answers to alter-ego ME Pearl, believes that all life, including ‘lowly life forms,’ should be well-treated. Even the garbage-loving possum. And to prove it, she’s got a Youtube page dedicated to possum massage techniques. As well as videos showing you how to use your possum to detect aliens, how to channel your possum’s past lives, and more. It’s everything a possum-lover could possibly need.

You might be wondering, is she for real? Well…no. In reality, “Georgina Spelvin” and her psychic persona ME Pearl are both played by actress Anna Dresden, who says the videos are meant to be funny.

But the possum-massaging itself is very much real. Whether you’re in the mood for a laugh, or you know a certain marsupial with a messed up back from a lifetime of dumpster-diving, you can check it out here:

Do The Dew

November 9th, 2016

Youtube chef Andy Smith, host of Cooking with Andy, has been making cooking videos since he was a teenager. But recently, he unearthed something a little different: a homemade commercial for Mountain Dew he made back in 1996. Let’s take a closer look:

We start with Mountain Dew’s beverage competitors. None of them comes close to quenching thirst like the Dew does.

Whoa! Now we’re upside down! Do NOT adjust your smart phone!

Finally, we see Andy’s co-star: the Dew, itself. Unfortunately, Andy doesn’t make it fully into the frame:

Wait, why is there a candle in this video? Isn’t it an ad for Mountai–BOOM! Reveal!

Gotta love that in-camera editing:

Andy pops into frame again, but this time, he nails it. (Almost):

He wraps things up with a plug for his cooking show, and then, finally, does indeed do the Dew:

Suddenly I’m really thirsty for some reason.

Campaign season is always a challenge for politicians’ families. But for Charlyn Daugherty, wife of Travis County Commissioner-hopeful Gerald Daugherty, the toughest part is when her husband regales her with the minutia of problems in his district.

On Monday, Gerald’s campaign released an ad that shows his devotion his constituents, and also what it’s like to be his spouse. Charlyn’s case for her husband is simple: a win for Gerald means getting him out of the house. “[He] doesn’t really have any hobbies,” she explains.
